Olive and Honey Gold

Hello lovely people, I hope you all are having a terrific Tuesday!DSC01525_pp

Today I am wearing a new color combination that I haven’t tried before and really like.  Olive and honey, the names seem to go together just as perfectly as the color pairing.

The neutral unassuming olive, tones down what could otherwise be a somewhat loud honey gold.  DSC01578

As you can tell I am loving my new Coach bag that the hubby picked out himself and surprised me with.  Love the detail, structure and color of the leather.DSC01524_pp

A cute and casual look that says I’m not afraid to try new things, within reason of course. ;) DSC01544_pp

Feeling Bold

Hello friends, I hope this post is finding you all well this wonderful Wednesday. I think when you pair leopard print and the color red together you are definitely making a statement.  That is exactly what I wanted to do.  I was thrilled about this blazer from Zara.  Although I just knew the sleeves would be too short for me I decided to go ahead and order it online anyway because I loved the print and figure I could just roll or push up the sleeves.  But to my pleasant surprise when the blazer arrived and I tried it on, the sleeves were actually long enough.  Yes I did my happy dance..lol  I thought now what to wear with and I was like I wish  had a pair of red pants.  I have skinny jeans but didn’t want to go tight on the bottom.  So I decided to make one of my first pair of pants.  For one of my firsts I actually liked how they turned out.  I wanted loose-fitting trouser style and I think these fit the bill.  Although my next attempt with pants will be a fit and flare type, where they are fitted through the rear and thighs and start to flare from the knee.  Hopefully I can pull those off. Feeling quite bold Tanasha? …why yes I am. ;)

So tell me my friends are you “bold” enough to wear leopard and red together? How do you feel about this pairing? I’d love to know, please share in the comments. :)

Hunter green mixed with tonal browns, makes me think of  a natural, earthy kind of vibe….would you agree? I really love this color pairing. Very subdued, mellow, but definitely not bland.  I was feeling warm, comfy, casual yet still chic.  Perfect fall outfit for this mom on the go running errands.

It’s Eclectic

When I was putting this outfit together, I realized that I had a lot going on. I thought well maybe it just might work.  After I viewed the pics I thought, hmmm….well I don’t know.  It looks like I have too much going on here, especially with the two different leopard prints in my shoes and belt.  Then I looked at the pics again and I was kind of like, okay I do have a lot going on, but I like it.  It’s eclectic…lol  So I decided to post the pics anyway.  Again finding one’s style is a learning process and as you all know I post the good, along with the not so good, and the what in the world was I thinking..lol
